Mazda in partnership with Clemson University’s Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR), a state of–the-art education program, is providing three graduate students at Clemson University with a $10,000 fellowship to pursue a degree in automotive engineering. The fellowships are performance based and renewable for three years. In addition, Mazda pledged a CX-7, drive trains, sub-assemblies and other automotive components to be used as learning tools by Clemson University students and faculty. By providing these fellowships Mazda is demonstrating its support and understanding of the vital role that education has in our economy, and hopes to provide more educational opportunities for students interested in automotive engineering.
