Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dillard University is a private, liberal arts institution. The Mazda Foundation partners with Dillard to fund the Mazda Scholars Program at the school. Scholarships are awarded annually to students who are majoring in Japanese Studies and/or International Business and Japanese. The program is designed to enhance the learning experience of current students and encourage future students to enroll in the Japanese Studies program, the first of its kind at a Historically Black College or University.
